Our Vision

We envision Pennsylvania churches no longer stuck on the sidelines, but boldly stepping out as the hands and feet of Jesus to the poor, the homeless, and the overlooked.

The Matthew 25 Project exists to be the bridge—the medium—by which local congregations are equipped and sent to love their neighbors in practical, life-changing ways. When the church moves, cities change, and the Kingdom comes near.

Our Mission

Rooted in the clear command of Matthew 25:31–46 and an Anabaptist commitment to follow Jesus radically, we mobilize and resource churches to:

  • Feed the hungry with dignity.
  • Welcome strangers and create safe community (“The Room”).
  • Train believers through Street Smarts and real-life outreach so they can serve without fear.

We are not another charity competing with churches—we are the catalyst that helps churches become the answer to Jesus’ question: “When did you see Me hungry, thirsty, or in prison?”

Rooted in the message "The poor is at our door," Matthew 25 Project PA embodies radical hospitality. We are dedicated to loving and helping individuals whom society often overlooks – the homeless, the food-insecure, and those navigating challenging life transitions. Our work is a direct reflection of Matthew 25:38, serving the "least of these" with compassion and dignity.
